Koroner Baypas Cerrahisinde İki Farklı Yöntemle Venöz Greft Hazırlanmasının Postoperatif Dönemde Yaşam Kalitesi Üzerine Etkisi

DOI : 10.9739/uvcd.2015-48326 Objective: In this study, the effect of preparing venous grafts via two different methods on quality of life was analyzed in patients who underwent coronary artery bypass surgery due to ischemic heart disease. Material and Methods: One hundred and twenty patients in the postoperative period who underwent coronary artery bypass surgery under elective conditions between July and November 2014 were included in the study. The study group consisted of 60 patients in whom bypass surgery was performed by endoscopic removal of vessel. The control group consisted of 60 cases in whom the vessel was removed via classical method. The survey developed by the researchers, and SF-36 quality of life scale wer used to collect data via a face to face interview. Results: The quality of life were compared between the groups in terms of physical functionality, emotional status, mental effects, and subdimensions of vitality. The mean scores of the endoscopic group was significantly higher than the classical group. Conclusion: It was concluded that quality of life of the patients who underwent coronary bypass surgery is affected not only by social–demographic characteristics, but also operation method. Postoperative quality of life is better in patients who undergo endoscopic vessel preparation procedure for graft when compared to the ones who undergo classical preparation method.
