HYBRID TREATMENT OF ACUTE TYPE B DISSECTION OF AORTA: A CASE REPORT

In this article endovascular steni graft implantation in a patient with acute type B dissection combined with a left carotico-subclavian bypass is presented. in the acute phase of type B aortic dissections medical treatment is usually preferred. in selected patients, we believe that closure of the primary entry site with a steni graft would be beneficial to prevent the progression of the dissection and possible future surgery.
