But surgery takes an important place especially axillo-axillary bypass which is an extraanatomical surgery. We aimed to report our early and midterm results of axillo-axillary bypass in this manuscript. Material and Methods: This study was designed retrospectively. Between March 2004 and March 2010; 9 patients underwent axillo-axillary bypass and 1 patient underwent axillo-brachial bypass procedures. Five of patients were male and remainings were female, with a mean age of 44.2 (32-72) years. Results: The mean follow up period was 24.5 ± 14.1 (3-48) months. Early graft trombosis occurred in 2 patients and these were succesfully reoperated. Patency rate was100%on 6th month and 90 %on 12th and 24th months. There was not seen any mortality. Conclusion: Axillo-axillary bypass surgery can be performed with low morbidity and mortality rates similiar patency rates of anatomically bypass procedures.
