ACUT ARTERY OCLUSION

In a retrospective stııdy between April 1990 February 1998, the registration of the 256 patients had 301 surgical interventions with acute arterial occlusions diagnoses were reviewed. in the etiologic factors atrial fibrillation (40 .2) was the first line. Mostly localisation in the femoral artery (55.1 %) was observed. Ali the patients had thromboembolectomy and addition to this faciotomy (8.6 %), angioplasty (4.5 %), bypass (3.8 %), aneurysmectomy (2 %). in the four groups the rates were as follows; 1 (amputation 2 %, mortality 11.1 %), il (amputation 9.8 %, m rtality 7.2 %), 111 (amputation 3.6 %, mortality 6 %), iV (amputation 7.8 %, mortalty 20 %) relatively.
