Abstract
Although inflammatory ones are rare among all abdominal aortic aneurysms, they may cause serious complications due to organ involvement with perianeurysmal fibrosis. Here we present our diagnostic and treatment approaches of an inflammatory abdominal aortic aneurysm with preoperative renal dysfunction due to bilateral ureteral involvement.
it should be kept in mind that patients presenting with signs of AAA and renal dysfunction may have an inflammatory AAA and ureteral involvement. Diagnosis should be confirmed with noninvasive studies as CT. Presr.rvation of renal functions may be achieved with early surgical treatment.
