AXILLARY-SUBCLAVIAN VEIN THROMBOSIS

Deep venous thrombosis of the upper extremity known as "axillosubciavian vein thrombosis" Is seen relatively rare.The incidence of this condition is getting increase due to the permanent catheterization with different aims. Here we report the cases diagnosed and followed as axiliary-subclavian vein thrombosis which new modalities have been included to the therapeutic approach during the recent years. The clinical presentation, predisposing factors, improved diagnosis and management of this rare entity are discussed along with the related literature.
