Abstract
Carotid artery aneurysms are rarely encountered when compared with other aneurysm location sites. It has a wide range of
semptomatology and may be presented as a single mass at the neck regio or severe neurologic deficiency. Surgical resection with
revascularisation is the only treatment modality as it is for all aneurysms. We present an extracranial internal carotid artery
aneurysm case treated surgically. (Turkish J Vasc Surg 2003;12(2): 25-27)
