RE-OPERATION OF TYPE-2 TAKAYASU DISEASE WITH THORACOABDOMINAL BYPASS: CASE REPORT

Abstract
Takayasu"s disease is a systemic vascular disease involving aorta and its major branches. Clinical pictures of Takayasu"s disease is extremely variable because of distribution of arterial lesions. 39 years old, male patient had undergone ascending aortobifemoral graft interposition 3 years ago .Patient"s symptoms recurred after that time and graft occlusion was diagnosed. Thoracoabdominal bypass operation was planned and performed successfully. We preferred this technique for better inflow pattern and patency. (Turkish J Vasc Surg 2006;15(3):45-48).
