SURGICAL THERAPY OF AORTA-ILIAC DISEASE WITH RETROPERITONEAL MINI LAPAROTOMY; CASE REPORT

Peripheric and coronary artery angiography was performed for a patient of 65 years old male with an aorta-iliac occlusive disease. After the first examination and initial investigations, aorto-iliac occlusive disease was diagnosed. Aorta-bifemoral bypass operation was performed with Retro Peritoneal Mini Laparotomy (RPML) approach. Intestine functions, transition to oral nutrition, stay in intensive care unit and hospital were concluded sucessfully. (Turkish J Vasc Sur 2007;16(3):55-58).
