Karotis Cisim Paraganglioması

Paragangliomas are slowly growing tumors which are originated from paraganglionic bodies of autonomic nervous system and chemoreseptors. These tumors are usually benign and the common symptom is asymptomatic growing mass in the neck. In this study, our experience about the surgical treatment of Shamblin type III carotid body paraganlioma surrounding the vascular structures in the neck was described.
