At Nalı Böbreğe Sahip Bir Hastada Abdominal Aort Anevrizması:

Besides horseshoe kidney is the commonest anatomical variation of the kidney, variations of renal arteries and veins as origin, number and size can be seen. In addition, accompanying abdominal aortic aneurysm makes it a surgical technical challenge. Diagnosis of horseshoe and abdominal aortic aneurysm diagnosed randomly with abdominal ultrasonography related to symptoms of prostat hyperplasia of 58 year-old patient was done with spiral computerized tomography. After being sure of the diagnosis of horseshoe, patient was operated transperitoneally and aorta-biiliac Y graft was set routinely by opening of the sac of abdominal aortic aneurysm and saving renal isthmus. Postoperative course and outpatient follow-up was uneventful and there was no complication. About 3 years later, he was underwent a cardiac operation with the same surgical team and aortic and mitral valves were replaced wih mechanical heart valves. Postoperative course was silent and outpatient follow-up is still done regularly.
