Aksillo-Bifemoral Bypass Sonrası Proksimal Anastomoz Ayrılması

Extra-anatomic bypass surgery is an alternative approach for limb salvage for patients exhibiting high risk when aortic approach is utilized. These patients carry an additional morbidity and mortality risks due to existing extensive atherosklerozis. Thrombosis, hemotoma, upper extre- mity ischemia and infection are frequently encountered complications. Proximale anastomosis detachment, although rare, is reported to be a serious complication for these patients since proximal anastomosis is performed on axilary artery. In this case, a patient who has been operated succesfully due to proximal anastomosis detachment after axillobifemoral bypass procedure, is reported.
