Karotis Endarterektomi ve Sentetik Yama Anjiyoplasti Sonrası Geç Dönem Yama Enfeksiyonu

Carotid endarterectomy and patch angioplasty is a common treatment modality of ca- rotid stenosis and has been shown to be superior to primary closure regarding to perioperative stroke, internal carotid artery thrombosis and recurrent stenosis. Patch infection is a rare complication of patch angioplasty technique especially for synthetic patches. We present a case of late patch infection after carotid endarterectomy and synthetic patchplasty.
