İliofemoral Derin Ven Trombozunda Ultrasonik Kateter ile Trombolitik Tedavi Deneyimi: Olgu Sunumu

Postflebitic syndrome is the clinical situation occurring after DVT of the lower extremity, which impaires the quality of life.The risk of developing PFS is approximately %50 when DVT is treated with anticoagulation alone. Incidence of PFS substantially reduced with systemic thrombolytic therapy, but there is approximately four-fold increased risk of major bleeding. Catheter directed thrombolysis is an improved form of treatment of DVT to taking advantage of lytic effect of systemic thrombolytic therapy by reducing systemic side effects. In this case we used ultrasound thrombolysis catheter to treat the patient diagnosed to have acute iliofemoral DVT, while the drip method reduces about 70% effective dose of thrombolytic and by ultrasonic waves help to loosen fibrin strands, thus we intended to reduce the incidence of PFS.
