Endovascular Stent Intervention in Isolated Internal Iliac Artery Aneurysm: Case Report

Isolated internal iliac artery aneurysms are very rare. It is frequently seen in elderly ma- les. It usually grows up without symptoms and is diagnosed accidentally. Iliac aneurysms bigger than 3.5 cm in diameter must be treated even if they are asymptomatic. Mortality of surgery is high in case of emergency. In recent years, better outcomes have been reported in endovascular inter- ventions when compared to surgery. In this paper, we present endovascular intervention in a pa- tient with isolated aneurysm of left internal iliac artery.
