Coil Embolization of Splenic Artery Aneurysm: Case Report

Splenic artery aneurysm accompanied with aortic dissection is a rarely seen clinical condition. Mortality and morbidity rates are high in the surgical treatment of both pathologies. In these patients, endovascular methods that are less invasive, easily performed and achieve rather successful results and they become preferred and current treatment methods. In this article, a pa- tient with splenic artery aneurysm accompanied with type-b aortic dissection and underwent en- dovascular treatment for both pathologies was presented.
