Calcified Vein Thrombosis-Like Pilomatrixoma at the Left Arm: Case Report

Malherbe"s calcified epithelioma is a rare tumor of follicular cells. It can be seen at any age, as is mostly seen in the second decade. It frequently occurs at the face and neck, and is rarely seen at the upper extremity. It develops from outer sheet of hair follicles, and mostly has a benign nature. We aimed to present a totally excised tumor with the prediagnosis of calcified cefalic vein trombosis at the left arm, but reported as "pilomatrixoma", a rarely seen skin tumor, on pathologic examination.
